Kelly Clarkson shows off drastic weight loss in tight green dress at Christmas at the Opry as fans cringe at performance
Kelly Clarkson has stunned fans by wearing a formfitting holiday-themed outfit during a holiday show on NBC.
The 41-year-old sang Santa Claus is Coming to Town with the iconic Wynonna Judd, 59.
The duo opened the show for Christmas at the Opry - which is a Christmas special that aired on NBC featuring the best musicians in country music.
Kelly was wearing a stunning and shimmering emerald green dress that flowed from her waist.
The dress featured see-through long sleeves that had the same shimmer as the rest of her dress.
It also had an incredibly deep plunging neckline that was being held together by two small buttons that looked like they would pop at any moment.
The American Idol star's dress came down past her knees but showed enough leg to flaunt her chunky black high-heels.
Kelly's recent weight loss was highlighted by the tight fabric that cinched her waist during the performance.
FALLING FOR KELLY
Most of Kelly's fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, loved her dress and her performance.
One said: "Sincerely need @kellyclarkson’s green metallic dress on #christmasattheopry right now!! where can I get one {not that I would be able to afford it} #HaveIEverSeenABetterDress?"
"Kelly Clarkson the best-dressed TV host & celebrity of 2023 looking incredible once again!" added another.
A third tweeted at the actress: "You looked fabulous at Rock Center in that gorgeous coat. And tonight at the Opry."
A fourth wrote: "You better sing Ms Clarkson!! Looking festive in Green."
On the other hand, one fan wasn't a huge fan of the performance and wrote: "Yikes - the audience didn't seem to be enjoying this... #christmasattheopry"
ANOTHER CHRISTMAS LOOK
On November 29, Kelly showed off her new figure during the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting.
She captured the audience's attention, at home and in person, during her performance that kicked off the show.
Kelly sang her iconic Christmas song Underneath the Tree which came out on her album Wrapped in Red in 2013, and she also performed that song at the Opry.
During the tree-lighting ceremony, the talk show host was wearing a gorgeous wintery outfit.
She was sporting a long white coat with fur around the collar and sleeves that prepared her for the New York City weather.
There was also a thick rim of fur around the bottom of the jacket that covered her legs.
Underneath, she wore an all-black outfit that allowed the jacket to stand out on stage.

Finding Harmony in Busy Lives: Kelly Clarkson's Secret to Sustainable Weight Loss
Singer, TV personality, and mom of four, Kelly Clarkson is known for her stunning transformations over the years. One aspect that has piqued the interest of many fans is how she balances a rigorous fitness routine with family life. With a packed schedule that includes touring, filming her talk show "The Kelly Clarkson Show," and managing motherhood responsibilities, it's impressive to see Kelly maintain an ideal weight.
To understand what drives her success in this area, let's first explore some key factors contributing to effective weight loss strategies.
Understanding the Importance of Rest: How Sleep Affects Weight Loss
Getting enough sleep has long been recognized as a crucial aspect of maintaining good health. Recent studies have shed light on its significant role in regulating metabolism and appetite levels. During rest periods, our bodies produce hormones that play vital roles in fat-burning processes such as insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and human growth hormone (HGH). These natural regulators help optimize energy consumption from food consumed during waking hours.
To prioritize sleep for optimal weight management:
- Aim to get at least 7-8 hours of undisturbed rest each night.
- Create a bedtime routine that promotes relaxation, such as reading or taking warm baths.
